Women’s History Month Graduation Ceremony

graduation ceremony workforce development

Congrats to our recent graduate’s Destiny and Crystal!
Destiny (left) missed 0 as in ZERO days of work! Her consistency, courage, and creativity helped her excel. Her advice to the next group of production assistants is, “build relationships, be a team and think that people really want to see you do good.”
Crystal’s perseverance, timeliness, and attention to detail helped her excel in her job. She also achieved one of her goals-she moved into her own apartment!quote from graduation ceremony speech

During the ceremony, Bright Endeavors’ Training and Coaching Specialist said the above quote in honor of Women’s History Month. We honor the young moms that came before us to pave the way and we also recognize that we are examples to young moms coming after us who will learn each of our stories of struggle and success. One tangible way we honor and remember each graduate is by writing their name on a stone and adding it to a wall outside our offices. The wall grows each month with unique stones and we love to see its progress!
