Sabrina’s Story & A Graduation Celebration
The theme of the Graduation Ceremony that celebrated our October graduates was “no grit, no pearl.” Grit is one of our core values at Bright Endeavors and New Moms and we saw that in every woman at the ceremony.
We heard Sabrina’s empowering story of grit. Sabrina was our guest speaker and a former graduate of the program. She told her empowering story of grit in that she overcame traveling long distances to work, trouble to find daycare, and overall exhaustion to graduate. She says, “what kept me going was my son.”

We celebrated so many milestones at this ceremony!
*When Ashley first started the program, she was homeless. Now, she has her own apartment.
*8 Participants gained permanent employment in October.
*Cyntia graduated in July and received a permanent position at Boost Mobile, she is now a Store Manager in training.
