2019 – A Year In Review

As our social enterprise continues to grow, we continue to be amazed at the outpouring of love we receive from supporters like you. Notice we never call you a customer. Because when you tell your friends about us, ask about volunteering, send an encouraging message through social media and even purchase a candle, you step into something so much more. Your acts impact our mission at its core, to empower young moms and their kids. And that’s why you’re so much more than a customer to us. Here’s what we did with your support in 2019:

New Brand

We launched elegant and giftable packaging to highlight our handcrafted work.

75 moms + 18,000 hours of job training

We welcomed 75 young moms to the paid, job training program and provided over 18,000 hours of job training using our Executive Skills approach. Learn more here.

55 moms found permanent jobs

And the percentage of moms who stayed in their jobs for over a year surpassed the national benchmark for their age group.

As we enter into the year 2020, we have audacious goals to increase our product offering, deepen our job training services, and connect with our community of supporters.

We’re excited to light the way with you!
